When will we be free? Another world, another war, another scorched shore? Back to Earth where living isn't easy. We've lost our minds. I'm going fucking crazy. And I know it's nothing new my dismal point of view. It's always haunting, the mirrors shattered and reflecting all around me.
I can feel you in the back of my mind. Heart beats pulsing in time, I won't let you give it up give it up. Can't you see peace from suffering? You're somewhere in between so far from everything.
You know there's nowhere else left to go. Our eyes don't meet like they used to. Whenever things start to clear in the back of my mind. Did I give enough time? Because I don't know why I try.
Haven't had too much to live for caught in a haze dark thoughts seem to take form. Keep holding them in the truth on your lips. Feeling unsettled within your own skin. Take those parts of me and let go. Filling up the glass overflow. Contemplating why I push through. Easier to let someone else choose.
You will always be the snare that won't let me go.
I could speak my mind 6 times you'd still ignore me. The Devils gave me a sentence. So I'll do my time and be fine in the morning.

I don't know who to blame was it the man in the mask or the fool in its place. Parading around like a wolf in sheep's clothing. Never needed your love until I got lonely.
I could never be the things you wanted. Head down looking up to a broken promise. Aiming blindly at a moving target. Held up once again because I lost my focus.
Hurricane season has start to slow, trying times will soon come to close. The dead end behind us still up in smoke. Only from ashes will true colors show.
I know that I was supposed to look away look away look away. Hate always has to take the best of me. Stagnant but ever present the truth comes out on canvas.
Never felt so disconnected feeling low the wrong perspective.

Always thought this was an interesting spin off from hail the sun and this album plus the self title is some good shit! I met Donovan Melero in person and while I think the popularity has gone to his head, the drummer and base are cool guys!

Really great. If you like Hail the Sun, DGD, I can't recommend these guys enough. This is one of my favourite albums of all time. Dwellings makes swancore with a twist - to my ears they have a more progressive-focused sound, and the lyrics and themes are always interesting and are what keeps bringing me back for another listen.
